"If we don't have to pay for it, then you don't have to pay for it"
As a result of striving to reduce/remove costs, Suntap prices are extremely competitive (often less than half) compared to some of our larger rivals.
Q. How can Suntap charge so little for such high-quality products?
A. Larger companies have many expenses (which must be passed onto the customer)
that we actively avoid, these include:
- Bonus driven telephone sales employees and their expensive telephone bills
(we simply wait for you to contact us)
- Bonus driven (hard sell) home surveyors
(As we are carrying out the surveys ourselves, our only cost is petrol)
- Directors, shareholders, managers, secretaries, cleaners, etc.
(Suntap has NO full time employees, it is explicitly designed to be dormant between installations)
- Expensive advertising, including: TV, radio, newspaper, magazine,
glossy brochures, glossy leaflets and flash websites
(this in-house developed website is our major advertising expense)
- Office and warehouse premises and associated energy costs
(A converted double garage is our office and warehouse)
Also, because we are a VAT registered limited company and solar panel installations are only subject to 5% VAT,
part of our profit margin is paid by the government in the form of reclaimed VAT.
